Shafik Sekitto

Shafik Sekitto joined Hearth in January 2025 and serves as Associate Director of Data Strategy and Impact. In this role, he leads Hearth’s data strategy, reporting, evaluation, and impact measurement work, helping teams use data to better understand programs, services, and organizational impact.

Prior to joining Hearth, Shafik worked across healthcare research, digital health, humanitarian innovation, monitoring and evaluation, and data analytics.

Shafik holds a Master’s degree in Global Health Policy and Management from Brandeis University, an MBA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
