The Hearth Annual Gala brings together a community who believes no one should grow old without a home. This evening isn’t just about celebration, but about action. Guests will meet the people behind the statistics: older adults who have moved from the streets into stable housing, of health restored, and of dignity reclaimed. Featuring transformational stories, a vibrant dinner program, and opportunities to effect change through silent and live auctions, as well as a paddle raise, this is a night to keep our mission burning bright. All proceeds will help ensure older adults have the support and stability they deserve.
Honoring Paulina Kusiak Daigle
This year, we are proud to present the Anna Bissonnette Award to Paulina Kusiak Daigle, the Executive Director of Winter Walk and a dedicated advocate for individuals experiencing homelessness. Paulina’s tireless work to raise awareness, foster inclusive community spaces, and uplift the most vulnerable mirrors our mission. Her leadership continues to inspire collective action, systemic change, and deeper compassion in service of those in need.
Paulina’s many contributions include:
Executive Director of Winter Walk, successfully leading the organization’s mission to raise awareness and critical funds to end homelessness.
Champion of Community Integration, pioneering initiatives that bring housed and unhoused populations together to walk, share stories, and break down social stigmas.
Strategic Partner to Service Providers, collaborating with a vast network of Boston-area organizations to ensure resources directly support frontline care and housing solutions.
Advocate for Lived Experience, centering the voices and dignity of individuals who have experienced homelessness in public discourse and organizational advocacy.
Mobilizer of Collective Action, engaging thousands of participants, volunteers, and corporate partners annually to commit to the fight against homelessness.
