Hearth’s Annual Meeting 2026

On the morning of Thursday, April 16th, our community came together at the Kroc Center for Hearth’s 2026 Annual Meeting. It was exactly the kind of morning this work calls for: time to step back, look honestly at where things stand, and recommit to the people we serve.

We were honored to recognize Senator Patricia D. Jehlen and Representative Thomas M. Stanley with this year’s Hearth Housing Champion Award. Their work through the Joint Committee on Aging and Independence has made a real difference for older adults across Massachusetts, and it was right to name it in a room full of people who understand why that work matters.

Joyce Tavon joined us to speak on the current state of housing and shelter in Massachusetts. Her remarks were clear-eyed and direct, the kind of perspective that cuts through and stays with you. We are grateful she shared her time and her thinking with us.

The 2025 numbers we shared reflect real strength in what this community has built. They also reflect a need that keeps growing. The two things are both true, and we are not looking away from either one.

If you were there, thank you. Your presence in that room means something. If you could not make it, the full program recording is below, along with a photo album from the morning.

We hope to see you at the next one.
