Nimo Hashi

Director of Supportive Housing

Nimo joined Hearth in 2021 as a Clinical Case Manager. She was promoted to Program Manager in 2023 and then became Director of Supportive Housing in 2024. The Director of Supportive Housing provides management oversight of the six supportive housing sites operated by Hearth, with the goal of evaluating and improving resident services and level of care. In this role, Nimo develops and implements a portfolio of activities and programs tailored to the residents of Hearth.

Nimo has extensive clinical and managerial experience in elder care, with more than twelve years of experience in social services, including five years as a Clinical Social Worker at Eliot Community Health Services. Her wealth of experience encompasses preventive health, substance abuse, resident self-sufficiency, housing stabilization, and case management. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from UMass Boston and a Masters of Social Work from Simmons College. She has also served as board president of the Somali Development Center since 2011.
