Matt DeAngelis

Matt DeAngelis joined Hearth, Inc. in July of 2025 as the Development Director. In his role, Matt will develop and implement effective fundraising strategies and manage donor relations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial sustainability. He brings a decade of professional fundraising experience to the team, having held previous roles at Rosie’s Place and the Animal Rescue League of Boston. In a volunteer capacity, Matt has also served for fifteen years as a volunteer with the Lupus Foundation of America, holding fundraising roles on various boards and serving as an ambassador for the community.

In 2016, Matt obtained his MFA in Creative Writing from Wichita State University. Prior to this, he received his MA in English from the College of Charleston. Most recently, he earned his CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) credential in 2025.
