An elderly resident of Hearth’s Ruggles Affordable Assisted Living is interested in learning Spanish but does not have the resources to pay for classes or a tutor.

Requirements

• Volunteer must be dependable and flexible.
• Experience teaching/tutoring Spanish is required.
• Experience working with the elderly desired, but not required.
• Individual must pass a CORI check and complete the volunteer orientation

Schedule

Scheduling is flexible, but ideally the volunteer would meet with the resident 1 hour/week.

Location

Ruggles Affordable Assisted Living is located near Dudley Square. It is also a short walk from Ruggles Station on the Orange and Commuter Lines. It also has free off-street parking.
