Maryann Colaizzi

Maryann is a licensed Registered Nurse and has an M.S. in Management. Maryann has extensive clinical as well as managerial experience in elder care. Her prior work experience includes serving as a PRN Nurse Assessor for LifePath, a Clinical Nurse Case Manager for AllWays Health Partners, Manager of Clinical Operations/Elder Service Plans for Cambridge Health Alliance, Manager of Health Services for BMC HealthNet Plan, and as a Resident Care Director for an assisted living facility in Falmouth where she managed the quality improvement program to ensure compliance with Executive Office of Elder Affairs (EOEA) regulations. Maryann also has experience in human resources and staff development and training; marketing and sales; workforce development and was the CEO for a home care organization in Boston.

In her role as Hearth’s first Executive Director of Senior Living, Maryann will focus on assessing and improving the resident experience for all Hearth residents. In addition to ensuring that facility policies, processes, trainings, and documentation follow EOEA regulations, she will implement a new training process for updating resident care plans. Maryann will also leverage her experience to improve the assessment process for incoming residents at Ruggles and serve as an advocate and change agent for improved elder care at the policy level.
