Hariel Morency LICSW, Director of Behavioral Health

Hariel has been working in the behavioral/mental health field for over 10 years. He joined Hearth in 2017 as a clinical social worker for the Community Based Flexible Support (CBSF) program, which was replaced by Assertive Community Clinical Services (ACCS) in 2018, a model that emphasis “active engagement and assertive outreach to prevent homelessness”. Hariel was promoted to Director of Behavioral Health in 2020. He worked as a social worker (intensive case manager) for the CBFS program at Eliot Community Human Services (2013-2017). Prior to working at Eliot, Hariel worked as a social worker as part of the Assertive Community Treatment team at South County Mental Health Center in Florida, supporting clients to live independently in the community, before he moved to Massachusetts in 2013. Hariel obtained a bachelor’s in social work and a master’s in social work from Florida International University.
