CEO Corner: Perseverance, Rebuilding, and Inspire Action

Over the past two years, Hearth has been on a journey of both challenge and change. Like so many nonprofits, we faced moments that tested our resilience. We had to take a hard look at ourselves; rebuilding systems, strengthening programs, and recasting our foundation for the future.

Through it all, one thing never wavered: our commitment to the older adults we serve. Their needs have always been our guiding light. Every decision, every adjustment, every step forward has been about ensuring that no elder grows old without a home.

This perseverance has brought us to a turning point. Today, Hearth is emerging stronger, more resilient, and more focused than ever. We are growing our reach, deepening our impact, and building the partnerships needed to meet the challenges ahead, because those challenges are only becoming greater.

As we prepare for our Inspire Action Gala on October 16th, and look ahead to the close of the year, I invite you to reflect with me on what we’ve achieved together and what lies ahead. Hearth’s story is one of determination and hope, but it is also a call to action.

Together, we can ensure that older adults in Massachusetts and beyond have the housing, health, and stability they deserve.

Warmly,

Rhonda Pieroni
