Memorial Fund Will Help Others Find Homes
Bob Wright
In 2009, Bob Wright, a resident at Ruggles Assisted Living Community in Roxbury, passed away. While he lived at Hearth, Bob generously shared his story with Hearth and the community, notably in a short film shown at Hearth’s Annual Meeting in November 2008. You can watch the film online here.
Bob’s obituary was featured in The Boston Sunday Globe on August 16, 2009.
The Bob Wright Memorial Fund
Bob’s friends have established the Bob Wright Memorial Fund in memory of Bob and his commitment to supporting the elder homeless community. These funds will be used to support the Hearth Outreach Program to help homeless elders find permanent housing and supportive services, with a particular interest in helping elders with funds for emergency needs to ensure their well being.
You can make an online donation using the button below. If you prefer to write a check, it should be made payable to Hearth, with “BWMF” written on the memo line.
