Mardi Mitchell

Director of Health Services

Mardi Mitchell (RNC, MS, CNS) is the Director of Health Services at Hearth, where she is responsible for developing Hearth’s health and wellness program for its residents. She develops policy and guidelines essential to the  management and care of Hearth’s residents, engages in research and  teaching  to ensure the best outcomes and serves on the Senior Management team.

Mardi earned her Master of Science (MS) degree at Boston College, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Boston MA.

Her Active Certifications and Licensure include, Registered Professional Nurse / Registered Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts and Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR & AED.

She is a Member, Association of Military Surgeons of the U.S., a Fellow in the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and a Member of Sigma Theta Tua Intenational Society for Nursing.

Her Honors and Awards include:

  • Distinguished Service Award, NYC, “for extraordinary dedication and contributions to reverse the COVID-19 outbreak and protect and promote the safety and wellbeing of New York residents.
  • The Colposcopy Recognition Award American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP), in recognition of demonstrating Special knowledge in recognition and management of lower genital tract neoplasia and related disorders of the female.
  • Service Award, ASCCP, in recognition of support and improving lives through prevention and treatment of anogenital and HPV related diseases.

She has earned two Navy Commendation Medals and five Navy Achievement Medals  (among the highest peacetime Naval honors), for her work.

Mardi was a recipient of a Meritorious Unit Commendation for her work during the First Gulf War.
