COVID-19 Emergency Food Pantry

COVID-19 is unfortunately causing multiple obstacles for our residents and outreach clients, one of the more urgent being food insecurity. In preparation, we have created an emergency food pantry for residents and clients experiencing food insecurity. We understand some elders may not want to leave their apartment to go grocery shopping or may have exhausted their funds. We need to take immediate action, so no one goes hungry.

HOW TO HELP:

We are now accepting donations of some non-perishable food and toiletry items. The easiest way to contribute items is through our registry at Target.

TARGET REGISTRY: We have started a Target Registry for the pantry that can be easily accessed with the button below. Items purchased through Target’s online registry will be shipped to Hearth. You will not need to coordinate a drop-off.

DROP OFF CONTACT: If you are shopping in a store and need to arrange a drop off, please contact Maura Murphy, Event and Volunteer Coordinator, in advance. You can call Maura at 617-369-1562, email her at mmurphy@hearth-home.org or click the button below to schedule a drop-off.

DROP OFF TIMES: Drop off times will be Monday – Friday from 10AM – 4PM. Please be sure to arrange the drop-off in advance, as we have restricted guests from visiting all Hearth sites as a safety precaution. We cannot schedule weekend drop-offs at this time.

MAILING ADDRESS: If you are online shopping at another retailer, you can mail the items to our administrative offices. You do not need to schedule a drop-off when shipping items. Mail to:
